Amador Student Music Fund (ASMF)
The Amador Student Music Fund (ASMF) originated as an action project stemming from proposed budget cuts throughout the State of California, which have nearly eliminated music from the Amador County Unified School District.

The ASMF is committed to promoting, encouraging advancement of and continuing support of music for all students in Amador County. As a non-profit organization, we are also committed to establishing the fund as a resource to help our schools to maintain music as an integral part of our children's curriculum.

One of our goals is to enhance the quality of life through music for the benefit of our young people. This can be done by exposing our students to all genres of music through listening to music and seeing live performances, as well as get-acquainted hands-on activities with various musical instruments.

Young's Vineyard
Young's Vineyard is nestled in the soft hills near the entrance of the Shenandoah Valley. When we purchased the property in 1992, there was an operating winery producing 1,000 cases of wine with seven acres of grapes. We sold the 1992 vintage from our tasting room in 1994.

Today production has increased to 6,000 cases of wine. Consisting of our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Syrah, Sangiovese, and Barbera. Last year our first white varietal was released, a lovely Roussanne. We have 30 beautiful acres, of which 20 are planted and producing. The reputation and demand for Young's wines has grown tremendously over the years.

Sierra Wines
The most comprehensive resource for the California Foothills wines and Foothills wineries available on the web! Includes Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Mariposa, Nevada, Placer and Tuolumne County wineries, and coming soon, Butte County.

Our website is designed as a tool to help you discover the incredible diversity and quality of the Sierra Foothill wines and wineries.

We endeavor to give you the information needed to explore this growing wine region and all it has to offer. To that end our website is divided into two very distinctly different areas: the Sierra Foothill Travel Guide and the Wine Database and informational pages.
